I defenitely will. I'm going to load some pics of my old truck later. And Richard is a good guy to deal with. He let us know what's up with the truck, good and bad. Plus he included two fenders and a hitch. The truck was as decribed, no surprises. I'll also wax it to try get a little more shine in the paint tomorrow and get some pics after that with some decent sunlight.

Re: 72Levi's truck...

The hood gap on the left is off because it is missing the plastic bumper that keeps it up. The right side has it. One of the first objectives other than making it shinier is defenitely window felts Not fun on I-10

Re: 72Levi's truck...

Kevin, I'm glad the ride went well back to Houston/Katy. I will miss the Super but if I was 10-20 yrs younger I would have done a complete frame off, I'm in my 40's and I decided to put all my efforts into my Blazer (new interior, seats, carpet, AM/FM, etc... pics coming soon) Kevin and his folks are very nice people, FIRST CLASS. I wanted the Super to stay with someone on the board, the truck deserved it. I am already missing it but I know Kevin will take care of him and add his personal touch to it. BTW Kevin think about subscribing to the board, tons of info on here and $25 a yr is the best investment you can do, people will help u here. Case in point... I needed a factory speaker bracket for the Blazer and big_al sent me one for free, it should be here on Monday. Take care and keep us posted of any and all updates, enjoy the Super I am already missing him, R. BTW I like your nickname you gave him! NICE!!!

Re: 72Levi's truck...

First day at school with it went excellent. Everyone was asking me about it and stuff. My brother wanted me to go in the car rider line at his junior high to show his friends instead of him walking to me at the road and saving ten minutes But when I got my inspection yesterday they said that the glass packs were illegal now so I either got a fine or new mufflers. They showed me the rules and it's been a Texas law for two years now apparently. All they really had were Flows and Magnaflows. So my huge stealthy mellow Blue Streak mufflers were replaced by Flow 40's with dumps under the step to abide the law Now of course it runs worse than with the old exhaust so I need to tune it and get a new brake booster and some other stuff. They didn't mind my exhaust leak at the air injection either, just had to get rid of those glasspacks
Need to fix that quick too

Re: 72Levi's truck...

I forgot to post pics of my old truck... After it went pow... with drop spindles and 6 inch rear drop springs. We were coming home from replacing the 1.5" front drop spirings with stockers and obviously didn't ever get to the rear. On 26" tires.

Re: 72Levi's truck...

some crappy ones at the car lot with the ece 4/6 drop and 26" tires on American racing hopsters. 15x8's and 15x10's with 26x12 mickey thompson's in the back. The old faded metallic paint job looked really cool in person

the blue and white one wasn't a total wreck was it? It sure doesn't look like it.

Yep, everything was gone including inside the cab. The sheetmetal was warped up front and possibly the frame. I wanted to keep it but our garage wasn't big enough to do that kind of work. Plus it was insured for 5g and so insurance wouldn't give us money to fix it. I miss it... Basically what happened is the fuel filter that was on it for the approximate year we had it magically broke a few miles down the road from midas where we got the stock height front springs put in. We of course had no proof after it happened.

Correct, however we had it shielded and padded, the only way to break it was a human messing with/hitting it. I looked it up right after it happened and figured out that the glass filter was a mistake. But like I said before, it was them. We had gone on trips to conroe, port arthur, even beaumont. But just like two miles down the road we smelled fuel and it caught. Don't go to Midas! They also put 55 pounds of air in the tires of my current truck on a rotation
