‘67 shift indicator

Did some searching to no avail. How does the fiber optic and plastic lens come out of the housing?

Re: ‘67 shift indicator

It does snap in and the backside (closest to fiber optic cable coming out) should drop down first; however, it is tight fit and very delicate removal process. I've broken one into pieces trying to remove, while another one released with ease.

Re: ‘67 shift indicator

UPDATE and edit.
I just register the removal, best way is to slide the clear/orange tab plastic piece straight forward out of the indicator housing. The fiber optic cable plugs into the clear/orange plastic tab.

I'll post pics this eve.
