`86 Hydro-boost On`67?

I have an`86 3/4t 2wd Diesel Suburban I want to take the hydro-boost off of.I`m building a`67GMC pro street that will have a knobby bumpstick to say the least(low vacuum/hi-power).I want to use the complete system from Master cylinder to steering box. What`s there to the swap? The truck is not begun.Would it be any advantage to use a`73-up front-end assembly? What is necessary to install the later syeering gear and M/C?
