`72 Rollback

I was at my friend`s sign shop,Jack of Arts, and this job just happened to be waiting for him to letter. It`s as nice in real life as in the pictures.I wanted to paint my wrecker Hugger Orange and this would be a perfect mate.I told him to twll the guy to give it to me or let me give him mine.I mwan, they just belong together. What`s right is right!Enjoy...

Nice roll back. Don't see them much. I would like to have one of those to haul the 71 on to the shows, that would be COOL!!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

i wonder if it is a late model with the old cab tossed on the frame.
It's sweet no matter how it was done.

Re: `72 Rollback

The guy called me while I was up at Carlisle All Trucks. He needs HO52 drums for inspection and needs it registered to get a 3 truck contract. It`s hard to find an inspector to cut any slack with the commercial rigs. It`s got a fresh brake job, they`re past tolerance. So,I`m sctounging to find him a quick pair until he can swap a 14-bolt in.I just happened to have a guy with a junk yard (10 min.out of Carlisle) stop by my spot late yeasterday and asked if I bought parts. They set a C/30 aside because it has a clean front clip.I`m heading up to haul my wrecker down and will check about that rear.Another member was looking for 5.13s for running an HO52 in his Jeep.Maybe I hit the jackpot!(pun intended).
I`ll get more info when I talk to the owner again.
I also have a cool story about my tow rig I`ll do a thread on...later.

Yes,they were.I believe they are more for keeping tire spash off and giving a real truck look than for steppin`.
The truck has a Good Guys sticker on a wing vent from the previous owner.I can only imagine the nice ride(s) that were hauled on back.I believe it was only used for transport from shop to shop or shows. The deck is unscarred.
