I believe it was in 51. My 51 has one piece window doors on it and every so often somebody comments "That can't be a 51 it doesn't have wing windows." I really don't know if they were replaced or if it came from the factory that way as we bought it that way back in 89.

Re: The Ulitmate Craigslist find thread

Not many of these left in original condition with seats.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/a...523739075.html

We have a great running 1963 school bus that was a church bus in Eastern Washington. Runs great, interior immaculate and body in great condition and ready for you to design your own camper or tiny house. Ready to drive to Lake Washington or to New York. Here is the following work that has been completed:

New points, plugs, points, condenser, cap, rotor, plug wires. New starter and alternator. Battery holder, alternator bracket, fan belt. Replaced exhaust manifold and intake/exhaust v. Replaced all the brake wheel cylinders had brake shoes, relined via Napa. Cleaned fuel tank, rebuilt fuel sending unit. Cleaned and repacked front wheel bearings, lubricated the front end, ball joints tie rod ends.

Clear Title
Straight six manual
Chevy
Regular Gas
Tires in good condition
We drove it from Eastern Washington to Seattle. Bus is solid but your not gonna go 70 in it but it will get you to New York if you need it to.

Re: The Ulitmate Craigslist find thread

I found a school bus in mid conversion to a motorhome. They only wanted $750. But, you had better like camo paint.

Nice Heavy Medium.

Wide Fenders.

Spoke Wheels.

Sheet Metal looks pretty good for a Northeast truck, likely used mostly in the winter time.

Thought you guys might like this one. Not Craigslist, but pretty much the same thing. Kijiji seems to be more popular up here in the great white north...

68 GMC wrecker $1500.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/c...542186380.html

This truck has a 500 Holmes tow unit but the truck don't run and is missing transmission , radiator and carburetor. The truck body is very rusty and floorboards are gone.
