2wd Blazer question

Hey Rat; littlebubba in Michigan. That boneyard 2WD Blazer you told me about awhile back , is it still around and for sale? Talked with a guy today from here, coming out there to bring back cars and parts, says he can bring it back for me, if you can tell me where its at, or info. I'd appreciate the help.

Heres a pic of motor its at night and pic makes it looks like crap,if hosed off,or blown off its spotless,a few minor changes have been made, wires and houses routed right, valve covers now factory chrome drippers, replaced some things with new.Actually every accessory is now new.Inner fenders not yet installed, they are mirror finish gloss black(not poof canned)ps pump reservoir has correct bracket so it dont sit at angle now etc.its changed for better.Ill try to get some nicer pics up.

littlebubba i bought that Blazer and its long gone it had a sweet body,i can sell a different one thats missing parts, has some minor rust. for around $1000 its a major project.i was gonna keep it,and thought about a tubbed drag race blazer would be cool, but need to be realistic and finish what i got,i dont even want to finish the Blazer i have right now.thats one reason im selling, and if i start driving it ill want to keep it,and my heart belongs on the 67-72 side.

Air Daddy,Id be more interested definently in your truck than my Blazer id like to know more im a 67-72 fan,and my favorite is a 68 and it appears you have one, email me tell me more.what it would take is Exhaust(quoted at local shop $250 for aluminized 2 1/2" with Dynomax mufflers,it was few bucks cheaper with Turbos)or i have some exhaust off a BB Blazer someone scabbed together that could be used it has the mufflers under seat area and exits infront of tires they had it held up with chains and bailing wire on the other Blazer i had,but with some hangers or for cheapness bailing wire would make it work i guess, cheesy but if saving money would get home.Since i put motor in i havent started it,has a new battery, carb never run,all the accessories are new, dump in Antifreeze, seats are just sitting in it,bolt them down, the radiator is scabbed in there its from a 72 and dont fit quite right but its a bood radiator fron a 72 402 truck.its held down,i have the correct BB shroud for a Blazer in truck.tires are good enough for trip.be alot of wistle all the weatherstrip was removed to paint every nook and cranny,no carpet so alot of road noise,i have 50 foot roll of jute padding would help.Ask me some questions ill try to answer,id like to hear more about your truck.email me at gmcrat427@yahoo.com i can take nicer pics this weekend.or i can email phone number and we can talk.Thanks-Rat

Well i have 3 weeks off from work for Christmas break, think its gonna get headers,3" tubes and Flowmasters, and NOS.and im gonna see what the 1/4 times are.and hopefully in this time span get the drop spindles 3" and 2" springs and a 7" drop for rear.or bags.maybe do the carpet and weatherstrip.so its done.soon as exhaust, weatherstrip and carpet are done, and i put on new tires, and do some other things it will still be for sale.then.depends how far i go.figure extra $1000 for drop spindles, springs, leafs, cnotch,if i put of NOS ill remove and save for my 67 but if want that to add in actual cost and ill leave it i want to push this in the 12's.by the way it does have a 3.42 posi going in,and will be replacing T350 with a B&M T400. dump way it sits for $4000 or end up $7500 and up.who knows maybe it will end up with the new 468 sooner its gone cheaper it will be.
