I guess "home school" would be an old school look with new school upgrades.

Thats how I am building mine. The only original style parts on the truck are the body panels and I even reworked them. I love the original look but I also love my Vortec and Led light mods etc.. SMOOTH and CLEAN

Re: debate y/not...new skool/old skool

What I like best about pickups is that they are wide open to creativity.

Last year at the Truck Nats in Carlisle I saw an "old school" S-10 ... flat black with cream trim, baby moons and a 327 for motive power. I saw a 67 C-10 with so many electronic gadgets that a space shuttle tech was drooling on the bumper.

I saw trucks in the weeds and trucks in the sky! Trucks with superchargers, turbochargers, NOS and stock inlines!

For myself -- I'm going for the classic hot rod theme. I want to build my truck up just like my old 71 camaro back in the day. (I can fit a lot more under the fenders than L-60 cheaters in my truck though!)
