lookin for eaton 3.90's anyone out there? 67 chevy custom camper

I'm looking for some 3.90 ho52...anyone out there...do they exist? or are they ghosts of christmas past

thanks Adam...I went through that before...I ordered them from Jim Carters...waited 2 weeks no show...called em...they said they were discontinued...I thanked them ever so politely...YEA RIGHT...for emailing Me that...I was jerked...lost two weeks waiting

You are better off updating to a newer rear axle.
You'll get the same run around when you start loking for drums too.

That sucks...I'd suggest trying 4.11's if you don't have them already, or go with another axle that will let you have taller gears. You can go to 3.21 with the 14 bolt, and 3.54 with the dana 60. Good luck!

There are like ghosts. I remember the earlier thread on this. And it has been discussed a lot at the stovebolt board. I have heard of one set of 3.73s that was in a Blazer. Best solution I know of is to go the 14 bolt route, if you can stand the angular looks of the housing. The swap isn't that difficult. The option I will probably go for is a 700r4 tranny. Wish we had some available.
