The beater truck had to have a little outpatient surgery today. I put a "patch" over the nasty hole left by the imfamous Ultra-Rare Corvette Option (RPO#OU812) hood mounted antenna. They had to do this because the HI PERF ambulance engines that came with the Corvette option had so much torque that the antenna would break the windshield on hard launches.

Here's some before and after shots. I figured while we there, we might as do a little cosmetic work around the hole with the hammer and dolly.

Only problem I can see is that you will have to change it every few days or after a bath.

If you put an antibiotic ointment on that, it might just heal up on it's own with very little scarring. Bacitracin works for me.

Take a look at where some people mount cb antennas. There is some strange places I have seen that done.
