Wow did the factory 68' gauge senders work with the new cluster? Howd' ya do that?

How did you fill in the gauge panel holes for the original oil and water gauges, etc?

His cluster was originally a base three hole cluster. There wasn't any gauges, oil and charging light in the center hole.

We've had a few cars shot for features in Car Craft and Chevy High Performance magazines.
We call it "getting the nod" from the magazine staff. I don't know it worked out for you but the photo shoot for our cars had to be later in the day with the sun pretty low because the cars/trucks are so shiny it creates bright spots in the photos.
I like to take the pics and have them framed for some garage art.

The senders have to match the gauges. So, I wasn't able to use the '68 c10 units and had to change them out for the newer ones.

I welded up the original booster bracket holes on the firewall, drilled new ones, and made a custom brackets for it.

I initially put the booster directly on the firewall but the pedal travel didn't work out (not enough stroke). So, I made brackets that tilt it up at about 5 degrees but only move it off the firewall about an inch.
