I will finish closing the back of the cab around the new floor braces,now waiting on the new floor pans and kick panels to remove the bad rusted areas.I will take more pics as I make more progress.

I need to add a gas tank to the back while Im building the frame for the bed,any ideas where and what I can use with the newer frame.Im sure alot of you guys have tried diff. ones on these and would like to get maybe a fuel cell,but dont know that much about them.I had some metal pieces bent to finish the floor on the cab and will weld them in tomorrow.I will take pics as soon as I can.

Get a blazer tank out of a 89 or so. It is 26gal and can be used as an injected tank or carb tank real easy. They are cheap from the wreckers but it is a pass side fill unless you change things around. I used one in LowBuck and it worked out great.

I moved the back part of the back door to the front to fit the door better since it had 2 doors on the pass side will post pics as soon as I finish and get the opening between the door and quarter where It needs to be.

Im cutting the bed down now,I bought it at a city auction and it had a liner in it.When I pulled the liner out today it looked like they threw boulders in it.I hope after I cut it to size I will be able to turn it over and sraighten it,I will post pics as soon as I take them.

Yes I was going to keep the leaf springs,might drop one or two when I get it on the ground.I dont think it will ever carry much,I have a idea how I want it to look on the ground.Im not sure if the weights have it where I want it.Right now the bed side needs to come down in the back,plus the bed frame has 2" braces under it too.So I will see how much I need to drop the inside of the bed when all the pieces are in place

I have the bed sides off and the bed cut down,had to move a couple of braces to make it fit.Ive done alot of builders,but always bought a diff. bed so this is the first time Ive ever taken the sides off of one.The newer bed is not as wide as the older bed would have been,so I will have to fill that in when I get to that part.I will take pics as soon as I get the braces welded and bolted down.
