76 c10 (scottsdale) cluster wiring description/information?
Hey all
I’m trying to wire up a Dakota digital vid and I’ve hit a bit of wall with the cluster wiring. I don’t know what each wire is and I can’t seem to find a clear description. I’ve taken a couple of photos of the original gauge cluster wiring connector. Does anyone have a description of each number? |

I found some diagrams and got some of the wires worked out. But it says that the brake is both 6 + 13. Do I connect both thee to the Dakota box?
Also where is the tach/ignition? |

Another dumb one. The fuel is listed as 7 + 18 which I presume is because I have dual tanks. Am I right in that only one tank will be displayed now?

I worked out that 13 for the brake was looped into 6 so I used that one
some research online suggests I tap into the signal wire on the fuel sender switch |

Do you still have the original cluster? If so, the best way to identify the wires is to trace out the paths on the printed circuit board. I've done that on a couple, and it's not hard.
