New guy from CO

Hello all! I'm Michael, a recent bowtie convert. While I still love Mopar, I really wanted a classic truck to wrench on and have fun with that I could actually afford, so here I am.

After much hunting I can now say I own a 1971 C/20 that I saved from an alley for a price fitting the 70s. It came from the factory with a 350 4BBL, SM465, Dana 60, rubber mats, no power steering, no AC, no trim, no stripes...very fitting of my end goal of a sleeper drag truck. So far I've removed about 100 lbs of former owners sin in accessories and questionable wiring. Next is getting it running, driving, and replacing a big portion of the bed thanks to a "custom" redneck flatbed.

Very glad to have this community of knowledge and like minded gearheads!

Very Nice! Keep us updated on the photos as you finish it. We just launched our new RetroLiner for metal bed trucks and would look nice in this as well. Feel free to email me vanessa@bedwoodandparts.com if you would like to talk about some wood . Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the warm welcome all! And sorry about the huge pics, didnt realize how big they actually were until I logged in on my computer instead of my phone. I'll make sure to edit them down in a bit.
