Side Steps for the '72 Jimmy!

Man....I missed out on those beautiful steps that Mike sells. So I thought, what the heck, I'll just build me up some.

Definitely time consuming! The steps from Mike are a bargain price!

great job! is that a suburban by chance?

I'm torn between three single door steps or two longer running boards for symmetry..

the longer step on driver's side would be useful to access roof rack and washing..

those are great looking steps, keep up the good work!

No, it's a Jimmy which is almost a twin to the Blazer.

Looks great ! If you're into fabbing stuff, you may want to build yourself a powder coat oven to coat your projects. The equipment cost almost nothing, but the results are amazing. I use mine a couple times a week.

Love that idea; do you have any sites or suggestions on where to go to set up something like this?

That sounds pretty cool. I'll have to look that up!
