Front Marker Lights Just Went Out..

I did a search but couldn't find a thread with my problem. I have not ( I guess until now ) had any electrical problems with my truck. All my lights work as they should and signal lights front and rear flash, back up lights works etc. This is the 3rd year I've had the truck and my side marker lights have worked until last week. The fronts no longer work but the back ones do. All other lights on the truck are working as they should. Am I wrong to think the front and rear side markers are on the same circuit and fuse? I've attached a pic of a fuse box so if someone thinks its a fuse issue pleaae point out which one. Any help is much and always appreciated.

They may be in circuit with the front lights on the same fuse but the splice/junction may have come loose or become too corroded to pass current.

Start with a multimeter at the bulb looking for voltage, then trace the wire back until you find voltage, there will be your issue. These kinds of circuits are pretty easy to trace. Could be a ground side failure as well.

Thanks I can check that out. I have all the stuff to do the headlight relay upgrade but want to get the marker light issue resolved first. So does that mean the rear marker lights are tied into the tail light circuit?

Re: Front Marker Lights Just Went Out..

Front marker light get power from same wire. They get ground through the instrument panel turn signal indicator bulbs. Each instrument panel indicator bulb provides ground for the respective side.
I didn't read correctly...thought turn signal was out. Marker is grounded through bumper or grill and light housing. Try running a good ground to the light housing or side of bulb while installed. Maybe a power spike burnt both bulbs at the same time.

Re: Front Marker Lights Just Went Out..

Finally got around to poking at my front marker lights. Though okay I'll start at the simplest thing, bad bulbs. Took the bulbs out and put my test light into the socket on both sides and it lighted up. Tried 3/4 different new bulbs and still the same. Used the the truck body as a ground for the test light. As I'm typing this I'm thinking mmm, maybe the ground wire to the socket is pooched, make sense to anyone?

Re: Front Marker Lights Just Went Out..

Could be, and super easy to check. Clip your test light onto a known 12v source and probe for ground.
