Last project 1964 C10
Here is a run down of my 1964 C-10 project. I just turned 60 yrs old and I think this will be my last build..so I maybe dump a bit more effort into it.
I started with a short bed frame I found on CL for $125.00 and added a Porterbuild suspension kit , 496 big block with FiTech EFI and Jones Racing pulley system , Turbo 400 Gear Vendors Overdrive and a fresh 12 bolt Posi. I swapped in a Big back window and every panel is brand new..

I took it to one painter and he made a mess of it so its now at a new shop..

This is fresh out of paint at the new shop...Im not sure how nice it is these photos were send to me. I am in the Philippines right now with the wife..

It looks great! I hope you don't mind picking your brain a little. What kind of header did you use? Did you move the engine forward and what about valve cover clearance?
I am just about to start on my 65 swb I have all the parts to start just need a few more things headers being one of them. |
