Laying frame?

What are you guys doing to lay frame? I'm about to start work on my 47-51 chevy truck but i'm using a S10 frame. I plan on buying a S10 air bag bolt on kit that promises to lay frame. The cost is around $1,000. What do you guys think of those? Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Laying frame?

there are thousands of people layin frame on that site, much younger crowd and you have to deal with the useless posts more often there, but the info is there, its just a matter of sifting through it.

Re: Laying frame?

trailwart, i went to the site to check it out. I know exactly what your talking about when you say "much" younger crowd. the search button on forums now-a-days is a big waste of time.

I'll probably join the site, ask my quick question & then call it a day.

Re: Laying frame?

I can take the tires off it for you and get it to lay frame. . Like trailwart said. that forum does have alot of good info on there you just have to sift threw the garbage. I am member over there also. same name. I have a 91 dime, you'll see it when you come to get your frame.
