Looks like a very nice truck. You are off to a good start too. I'm going to follow along with the build.

Thanks Joe and Mike for the complements. I finished all the welding on the door. I finally have a nice door! Now I need to sand the whole door and get it ready for primer.

Worked on one of my door panels today. They are kind of rough. I scrubbed it down with a brush, soap and water. I painted them with Rustoleum spray can truck bed liner. I thought it would take away the grain of the plastic but it didn't. I think it looks better without the wood grain.

Nice job on the whole truck. Door panels look great, I used U-Pol Raptor tintable Urethane bed liner on mine, add more than the recommended 10% urethane paint and it levels out better. You had such good luck with the wood grain dash and glove box door, I am surprised your not doing the doors also. Seat looks comfortable do you think you gained any leg room?

Thanks, I did gain some leg room. The back is thinner so I sit back a little more. I wanted the wood grain on the door but I think it is too big for my liking.

I soaked some of the inner door tracks in Evaporust. I made a wood trough and lined it with plastic. I am going to soak the ends of the doors to remove any rust in the seams.

Not much to look at but today I painted and poured paint in the inside of the door. I rolled the door around and let the paint flow into the seams. Maybe tomorrow I will get the outside of the door epoxy primed.

I sprayed some primer today. My carpet came in today. I ordered the essex premium carpet from trim parts. I put it in the truck to see how it fits.

I have been priming and sanding my door. Today I got the white part of the door painted.

I finished the bed repair patch. I painted some more on the door. I still have to paint the other side of the door, I couldn't figure a good way to paint in at the same time so just have to mask a lot. I gutted the passenger door. Not much rust on it. I have it soaking in evaporust right now.

I painted the back side of the door today. I did some custom painting on it.

I finished the drivers door. Installed the glass with new seals and weatherstriping. I am real happy with this door, it is tight and works like new. I finished putting the dash back together, new pad, new speaker, radio and a/c heater duct.

I am going to start working on the passenger door. Here is the before picture and after it has been soaking in evaporust. The nice thing about soaking in the evaporust is the inside of the door bottom is rust free. I also installed my cup holder.

I look forward to seeing updates on this build. This is pretty close to my daily driver as well. Great tip on the spray bedliner on the door panels. I had tried Sems texture spray,but the bedliner worked alot better.

I haven't worked on my truck since last year. My son had a bad motorcycle accident in Jan. and was in the hospital three months. He is getting better. I got something done for the truck. I finished repairing the right door, epoxy primed it and seam sealed the edges. Going to try to paint it soon and get it back on the truck.

Today I finished painting the passenger door. I have installed a new back bumper. Installed a curt receiver hitch, Wired in a trailer brake controller and seven way trailer socket. I also installed a B&M trans cooler.
