its pretty funny to see my 2wd truck sit higher stock than most of the stock 4x4s at school, and the lifted ones arnt much higher. just shows how much i need to get a lowering kit.

Tire's help little once you loose momentum. Also, no sharp turns.

But if you get stuck, and can't get out with the back and forth, just stop and start digging lol.

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!

Wow, I just caught this thread.

I guess I'm one of the lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it), as I have a non 67-72 DD. I DD a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi. The original plan when I got my 67 was to DD it, but it's in too poor of condition for that to work safely. I do still love these trucks, though. We're actually going to an auction to bid on a 67 c20 in almost mint condition.

Oh, I'm Ed, I'm 17, and yes, I am addicted

I think now that I have a decent running-driving 67 ( http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=340915 ), I may actually drive that to school a few times, lol.

I have prom too. You know it would be cool if she had a guy with another 67-72...

You raised her well.

And is that a little Caterham?

Re: Calling all high school 67-72 owners!

72chevyk10 How much space do you have with those tires? do you think 35 x 14.5s would clear or are they a little to wide? I have friends that dont think i can even clear 35s with a 4 inch lift so i wanna try to put wide 35's on it... im not to worried about rims because mine are 12 inches wide wide a 5 inch offset lol
