1970 Chevy C30 1-Ton Dually Flatbed Original Survivor

I was really hoping I could keep this truck, but it’s just not in the cards. Posting here on the forum before I list elsewhere. Let me know if you have any questions.

Perfectly patina’d factory medium blue original metallic paint with clear coat. 98k original miles, 350 v8 / 4-spd manual, 157-inch wheelbase, powdercoated 19.5” P-30 wheels (very hard to find), tires are just a few years old with excellent tread, custom built 7’x11’ low profile flat bed with D-rings, trailer harness and class IV 10,000-lb receiver.

The interior is all original (seat cover, dash pad, arm rests, visors, even the floor mat), and has only been cleaned and detailed. The doors shut like a dream. Imperfections here and there just enough to add character. Matching 3rd center seat belt so your kids can tag along. This truck had a cabover camper all its life, so the cab was shielded from the weather. Factory dual exhaust, sway bar, and original soft-ray tinted windows all around.

Runs and drives great, lights and gauges all work (except speedo). No annoying oil drips or battery drains! New clutch, rebuilt edelbrock 600-cfm carb, new brakes all around, new axle flange and pinion seals, new u-joints and driveline support bearing, new front shocks, new fuel sender, new fuel pump and filter, and smoked amber roof marker lights.

Clean title in my name with current registration. I’m not in a hurry to sell this truck. You will not find another like it, and they are extremely hard to find in this condition. $12,500 obo.

Thanks for looking!

You know I literally felt nauseous when I posted it. This is one of those times I know before even going through with it that I'll regret it. But I'm trying to buy a house and family comes first. Maybe I'll pull one of your moves and buy it back in a couple years.

Price is negotiable... Getting a good amount of interest, but no deal yet. Don’t hesitate to throw me an offer if you’re interested, I may say no but I won’t take it personal.

Sad to see it go for sure....but I admire your attitude of "Family Comes First". Certainly not enough of that attitude/thought these days.
Here's a bump for ya and good luck.

The buyer was not a board member, but he was sure excited to own this truck, which made it a little easier to let go. It’s in SoCal now.
