After Market Stereo Mount Ideas?

Looking for some input here on options, pics of installs would be great. I just recently installed a factory am/fm Delco radio in my un-cut dash '71 4x4. I have the single bend 4 speed stick and the transfer lever in the center hump which makes for some difficulty. Would like to mount my older, single din, Sanyo am/fm/cd/cassette, using a splitter I so can use either radio with stock mount fender antenna . Really don't want to go with the in the glove box route unless have to. That isn't very accessible to the driver. I relocated the in cab tank to under the bed and have an after market 40/20/40 custom seat. Want to reach the controls without blindly fumbling under the seat mount and with my seat a console is not an option either.

I will be using the 67-72 corner speaker mounts from bigblock73 which he has
offered here on the board. Installing a pair of 6x9 Pioneer tri-axials 150 watts in the corners. For under the dash I have are a pair of Polk 5 1/4"
co-axials or Rockford Fosgate 3 1/2" co-axials. Which to use? Plan on mounting them to an underdash plate and secured because of the weight involved.

Sorry for the long post but am not much of a audio expert, just want something that sounds good and has some clarity to it. Thanks for any replies and would appreciate some pics if you have any.
