1971 GMC Suburban

Not a lot here....rear hatch is a pending sale. This will be a complete part out. 1/2 2wd 350/350 5 lug disc brake front, non posi rear I believe 3.08 will double check that.
Tailgate $100
GMC Super Custom 1500 emblems $50
Rear Bumper $95
Bumper Brackets $40

all prices plus shipping...ask about anything you may want also...No OE seats, no carpet retainers, no rear interior panels, no headliner

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

I'll take the below items if you can price the pile well.

1) Oil pressure line and firewall grommet, if it's in reusable condition.
2) Wiper switch and knob
3) Headlight switch and knob
4) Gas cap
5) Wiper transmission arms, screws, clips
6) Gauge cluster

Thanks
Jim

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

5) The windshield wiper motor has a single bolt that comes through the firewall and out under the cowl, attached to it are the two wiper motor arms (about 14" long each) that and clipped onto the wiper motor bolt and then attached to the sub cowl with two screws on each wiper side. Once it comes through the sub cowl, the actual stainless steel wiper arms\blades attach to it.

Make sense?

Thanks
Jim

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

I'm wanting to convert my doors from 72 to 71-pre style. So...
1. Door handle shafts (left and right)
2. window crank assy (left and right)
3. Horns that work?
4. Is that a tilt column? If so, how much

And what date is the california plate?

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

I can definitely help you with the conversion, do you need all 3/4 doors for a suburban or just the front two for a truck/blazer? Will check on a working horn...no it is not a tilt column. Plates are early to mid 70's what I believe to be correct for this truck.

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

Yeah, I am more than willing to do cuts for patch panels, memory serves those area are nice, I will take some detailed pics of the areas you have noted and we can go from there...Do you need the taillight section also? If so, it has been body worked.

Re: 1971 GMC Suburban

I don't really "need" the taillight sections. I might be willing to take the whole quarters if you think we might could just cut them in half (north and south) at the wheel wells then I would have the whole thing. I mainly need the sections ahead of and behind the rear wheel wells.
