Re: Thought someone might be interested

i think new 6.5's run about $8K and i think are actually made by international.

So these may be a good deal.

Re: Thought someone might be interested

anyone see the flaw in the listing?

"houston craigslist > for sale / wanted > cds / dvds / vhs - by owner"

Re: Thought someone might be interested

I posted this in another forum and have came to the conclusion that something is not right about this ad, seems very suspicious.

6.2 & 6.5's were designed by Detriot Diesel & manufactured by Detriot Diesel, General Motors & now AM General.

International produced the 6.9L, 7.3L, 6.0L, & 6.4L diesels for Ford.

I think Navistar makes a variant of the 6.5 now for repower type things, i dunno if they have anything to do with IH.......

Re: Thought someone might be interested

1) Ok, i did not read the ad carefully and it may be suspect. But IF these are new 6.2's AND the ad is legit then it might be a good deal.

2) Yes, i think Navistar not only "tweaked" the 6.5 but now actually also produces the crate 6.5 for GM. Or, navistar "tweaked" it and am general now produces it for gm. i will try to find a link asap concerning this.

P.S., i think these are referred to as "red blocks" or something like that.
