Grease gun that doesn't leak

Is there one out there?

My current gun is 15+ years old and leaks out more than goes into the target. I have looked around on Amazon to see whats out there. They are good about reviews. The most common issue is leaking. Most complain that they leak from day one. I can understand this happening over time, but not from new.

What are you guys using?

Re: Grease gun that doesn't leak

I bought lincoln cordless grease guns for my three garages at work for shop and field use, the guys love 'em..

can't speak to how leak-proof they are.. with multiple mechanics using them it's impossible to tell, lol..

getting very difficult to buy good 'ol american made tools that work and last but farm sales, auctions, etc. may land a good solid unit..

as for new brands, some google reviews like this may help, https://toolsinsider.org/best-grease-gun-reviews/

good luck!

Re: Grease gun that doesn't leak

Thanks for the link. The Lumax was one I was looking at on Amazon. It had great reviews. The cordless is pretty sweet, but cant justify that cost.

Re: Grease gun that doesn't leak

We've got hundreds of grease guns at work....all kind of brands.....I don't know of a single one that doesn't have a coat of grease on the outside....mostly from leaking around the pump rod

Re: Grease gun that doesn't leak

The leak issue I am referring to is at the opposite end of the pump handle down by the T handle

Yep, if you find one let me know. I just make drip trays for mine at home and work.
