Grommet for Tailgate

On using the PCV grommet to quiet the tailgate area - What kind, type or part number would be used?
I found this one but I'm not sure.

Also is there an O-Ring that could be used?

Re: Grommet for Tailgate

That's a cool idea that I hadn't seen.
Where did you get the idea?

JohnLee did a lot of good write ups.
I like woogoroo's post saying: "Real trucks rattle."
.
There's a farm supply store near me that has every possible grommet, O-Ring, misc hardware you may need. If there is one near you, you might find something similar that would work.

Re: Grommet for Tailgate

Thanks I will look around myself. I asked one of the members who has an awesome 283 build if he knew the p/n on his pcv grommet. I hate going to the local auto parts store and talking to the button pushers but maybe when I have some coffee, breakfast and take a deep breath I will go in and ask.

Re: Grommet for Tailgate

I have seen guys simply cut a little piece of heater hose and slide it on there.
