Got some more goodies today from lmc truck. Relay harness and new headlamps. Should be alot brighter than the original set.

Painter was starting to get real sloppy with his work and wasn't being honest with me. Anyways I have it at a really nice paint shop now and things should start moving faster now.

Long story short he took me for money and didn't come through. Hopefully things will turn around now and will be better than I expected ted.

dude, youre just steadily cranking away on this thing. looks awesome. shame about the painter though- hopefully all works out with the new shop.
your frame being powdercoated makes me wanna have mine done since ive got it torn down right now. what shop did you use and about how much did it run if you dont mind me asking?

I used visalia powder coating. Charged me $750 for complete chassis, suspension parts, and rear trailing arms.

right on, i used to work for whipple here in fresno and have a hookup through their powdercoating guy, but hes backed up a few weeks. so that shop you referenced is not too far of a drive and worth it if the shop does reputable work.

Paint is the thing I dread most. And one of the reasons I dread it is having a bad experience such as you had. I really think Im probably gonna give it a go myself.
Anyway with that said I hope things work out with your new shop, sounds like they should. Also, your rolling chassis looks great. |

Thanks everyone I hope things work out too. I found these pictures out in the garage this evening. I drove this in high school and fixed it up along the way. Took me 2 yrs to finish. This is where the love affair started. Haha

Today was a productive day. We got everything put on the chassis and started lining things up. Next week we will mock up all the moldings then take apart for paint.
