Re: 70 ground up build, porter built, accuair e-level, ls swap

man I'm really impressed with porter builts parts. their website doesn't do them justice. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got some nice stuff. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high end suspension.

I got all the holes drilled and I cleaned up everything and put a Lil black paint on it to keep the rust down.

Re: 70 ground up build, porter built, accuair e-level, ls swap

Where's the best place to buy quality sheet metal? I've got some stuff from lmc and it's sorry imo. I ordered these lower a pillar panels and it doesn't fit right. so I ended up going to a parts truck I had and cut it out of.

Very nice progress.
I bought some nice cab corners from Tabco. They were the best fitting pieces I used on mine. I replaced the lower piller pieces too. They came from Tri plus I think. Not the best fit but usable.

Re: 70 ground up build, porter built, accuair e-level, ls swap

I ordered some sheet metal from LMC at first but had the same fitment issues. I ended up going with DeWanye at NSane Hot Rods he is a vendor on the boards. He owns a hotrod shop that does restorations on our trucks and uses all the sheet metal he sells. Great guy and very helpful. http://www.nsanehotrodz.com/
