"Don't call me a redneck. I'm a rough cut country gentleman"
I just saw that on special K's post.

My Uncle used to proclaim that he was not a HillBilly. He wore shoes, therefore he was a Mountain William.

I've always wanted to post on this thread, but I always forget to take a picture until after I have unloaded.

Yep, an 84 VT500 Ascot that I sold to a buddy. I’ve had two and they are fantastic bikes.

Camping, fishing, good company. The best. Don't see many cab over campers for a short bed.

Post Campers

there's a guy in a public park in Gardena, Ca. who's living out of a short bed camper, he rwcently bought a new(er) truck but the same old camper for many years now .

Interestingly there's never so much as a gum wrapper anywhere near his site .

Thumbs up Old Trucks Hauling

Just because it's a tool there's no reason not to work it ~ you needn't toss old brake drums at it from 20' away .

Just find a good commercial grade mat for the bed and unroll that when you're ready to work .

I can see that Scott. About the heaviest I have had on it was 2 ton of rock. It did a good job on that.

First load of stuff I have hauled in the new Dually. I had to dismantle three sets of wooden shelves at the Historical Society Library and take them home. Even that didn't bring it down much in the back.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Another one of my ‘71. This time hauling just shy of 3 tons of anthracite. Total weight was around 11,400lbs.

It was a white knuckle ride down the interstate but it did a great job!

A pair of tires for a Massey Harris Pony. No calcium chloride in these! My brother sandblasted them and gave them a fresh coat of yellow.
