Door patch is starting to look decent, after a TON of work. Ended up having to cut the fold of the door skin back to get the old stuff out which was rusted to the skin. Spot welded the patch panel to the outside skin, i'll grind it down and then fold the skin back down and weld. Ughhh. So much for a $60 panel. Fit was absolute ****.

Thanks, I love this picture. My buddy said I shouldn't even C notch it, rear end is resting on the frame in this picture.

Driver side door is finished. My buddies dad did the finishing work on it at his body shop.

Also put in new door hinge pins.

Basically it would sit as it aired out all the way. Ride height would be a few inches higher, which would have no effect on ride quality. Notching would just allow me to set it down a little lower.

Ahh I see what your saying, I think the stance is killer... Man I want to lower mine so bad but I have a lot of parts to buy to do it. Anyways when's the bed going on? you going to have to modify the rear tubs?

Been jammin right along on the truck. Not sure what color to paint the interior. Thinking a cherry red to match the wheels?

Yeah, doing fawn with a black mat. PO painted the entire interior like a desert tan lol.

I've been working on the brakes all weekend, adapting the 88-98 1500 stuff to my truck.

Essentially used a secondary bellcrank behind the brake pedal which actually attaches to the booster pushrod.

Need to flip the loop on the 3/16 line (although it would probably work fine as is). I just got tired and didn't get to it.

I took all my old brake lines out and replaced the lot with copper, you can't cut corners with brakes if you would ask me.

I was referring to my air lines. I've read too many horror stories of DOT PTC line blowing up. Plus I'm running a York 210 which will put out a lot of heat.

My Dloe valves just showed up. Building a really trick false cubby behind the factory ash tray for the valves and gauges. I've never seen anyone do it.

They're factory 22x9 GM wheels.

Built a false ashtray to house my manual valves (Dloe's), and it will have an angled gauge in the corner. Best part is that it will look completely factory when the door is closed.
