Fitech fuel injection timing and converter lockup control

Has anyone installed a Fitech 600 unit? Putting a 383 in my ‘88 RCSB and can’t seem to find any details about using stock distributor with the Fitech unit controlling timing. Also may appear a converter control module from them may be required to handle lock up. Truck will be getting a 2300-2500 rpm stall for the 700r4 trans.
