Question 1960 K10 4X4 Original Wheel Size

Anyone know for sure if the K10 (half ton) came with the 16 inch wheel? What about the width?

Thanks.

This shot is the 1960 K10 that comes up when you do a search, that sold at Barrett/Jackson auction, for ALLOT of $. Its a big window, V-8 4X4. I have been using this restoration for details. In this photo you can see 16 on the tire. My truck, is missing the original wheels, but the pare is a 16 inch wheel I am assuming to be the original. Anyone know if these wheels were dated?

I think you could get 15"-16" and 17.5" rims. Some here have the parts books.

Some of the 4bys even came out with 19.5 (may have only been 3/4 ton though)

Had a request to see my truck. Here it is in about 1990. Its much worse now...my dogs name was Butch, he was a great dog. He wasn't happy about being up on the hood.

Re: 1960 K10 4X4 Original Wheel Size

And to get back on topic,,,an e-mail I received after inquiry to a AKH wheels. There are several correct answers! Everyone here knows their trucks it seems!

"Hi,
16 x 4.5 was stock. These true and straight wheels run $150 each.
15 x 5's was stock. These run $140 a wheel. No optional.
17.5 X 5.25 was stock. These run $295 per wheel. No optional.
Shipping costs under $108 a set/4 depending on your US destination.

1960 is a spring clip hubcap wheel. Not in 1961. 60 cap were the 55-59 type I am told.

1960 wheels , yes all three sizes are spring clip. 1961 1962 the 16s and 17.5 are spring clip also for half ton. The 16 inch clip wheel is 16x5 wide not 4.5 also. There are several older rims that "look" exactly the same as the 1960 truck rim but are narrower , those are early 50s rims , always look at the width and 3 clip to get the correct rim.
