But that 2nd cat looks big enough to devour some of these guys dogs so I suppose they'll let it slide!!

Very, very sorry to hear that. That's one of the toughest choices. Always easy to say "it's just a dog", but for dog lovers, we know that's just not true. Sure sounds like the best choice considering the circumstances. Again - sorry that happened.
