Made some progress today, got the floor/firewall braces in. Cleaned them up with the wire wheel. Also started covering holes up in the fire wall..

Looking good man! Are you going to put a radius piece in on the firewall or leave it as is?

Re: Andys 68 c10

Looking good here Andy. Keep up the good work. I was hoping to put a radius piece in that smooths the firewall drip rail/seal rail whatever its called but not sure I am going to have enough time.... I really want to get this truck on the road...

How is the weather been lately? Big storms up your way I hear...

I'm way to far from worrying about "getting it done"!! My plan to to smooth th entire firewall and hide all the wires/hoses as much as possible..

Not to many storms, just bitter cold!!! Kinda kills the drive to work in the garage.. but I will have progress tomorrow!!!

Looking good! You've got the cold too? We have been floating around - 30° C to - 50° C up here all week. Supossed to get back to - 20°C starting next week.

Re: Andys 68 c10

Curious, are you going to run a bulkhead connector on the side vent or if not what are you gonna clamp everything down with?

Re: Andys 68 c10

I'm getting pretty close to purchasing a wiring harness so I will keep an eye out for your decision on wire harness and bulkhead connector choice. I would like to run my wiring through the vent as well.

Re: Andys 68 c10

Think I'm gonna do the fuse box in the vent, then run the wires out to the necessary areas from there.. keeping it all hidden
