do you think its a real good idea to put the smallest possible taillights on the back of your truck ? lookin cool with a crashed up rear aint too cool

These are LED lights...if people can't see them then they shouldn't be driving...BTW they are only 1" smaller than stock tail lights...

I believe those are actually those light up skull hitch covers..looks like htey just built a bracket to hold em..look at autozone at the hitch section

Yep they are hitch covrs.... I saw them at pep boys.... I wonder how the Police would feel about them though??? Only the eyes light up and thats not a whole lot...

Yes they are "hitch covers" that have been modified to fit.... as I recall they are about 35-40 bucks a piece.

I jst want something different...I was looking for some bowtie lights. I found them a while back but now I can't find them anywhere.

You could also integrate a third brake light somewhere else for safety.

Hardly a knowitall, but I think the only other limit to taillights besides color and height is they have to be able to be seen from certain distances in daylight. Different states/different limits. May be wrong on my wording, but hope you get my point. If they're LED, they might work?

mine are aftermarket motorcycle turn signals. there only about an inch in diameter but there l.e.d. ive never had a problem with the law, but thats new york...

most of the chrome shops for big rigs carry those, as well as some of the bigger truck stops.
i dont know where you are in illinois. but the truckomat in effingham carries those.

You can get this style of tail light at a HD bike shop. A little larger then my 50' p/up tail light.
