need help

how do you wire up a starter on a 78 el camino I believe there are 4 wires hanging not sure which goes where, also how do you put on those stainless braided hose kits. Thanks

Purple wire to "S" post(next to block) on solenoid--all others should go to battery cable post. Hose--PITB(pain in the rear)
