Re: 68 c10 6.5 turbo diesel

Well I have fixed an issue I have been chasing with this set up. I kept getting the code 35 injection pulse to short. I bought a new PMD the new kind and got a good ECM still had that code. I ran the motor and touched the PMD wires and they were hot and it shut down when they were moved. The PMD harness is one of those extension harnesses for remote mounting the PMD. My fix was I removed the intake and ran 18ga high current wires from the PMD to the fuel solenoid of the IP. I then shortened the command and feed back wires from PMD to ECM, they are now less then a foot. I then ran a 18ga power wire for the PMD on its own fuse. I do not have that code no more and is a lot more responsive if anyone has a code 35 or 36 and has the remote harness check it first.
