Dragging home something very original today...

I came across a pickup I just couldn't pass up. Quite a bit nicer than what I normally buy. But VERY original, just the way I like them. I got the "fever" on this one. I will have to sell some things to pay for it

I'm off to get the trailer and a cashier's check...

Here's a sneak peek, just a teaser for now, more to come...

Re: Dragging home something very original today...

The doors, fenders, and tailgate have been re-sprayed. Pretty much everything else is original paint. And it’s very hard to tell, which is which!

Re: Dragging home something very original today...

I could tell it was a '67 just by the original 'slimline' door handle and window crank from the first pic... Well preserved. Or nicely restored to Period Correct. Paint looks fresh.
What does the odometer read?

Thank you, it's really an honor to have a truck in the same realm as your 68!

I'll send you a PM. It was a fair price but not cheap.

This was on consignment at a classic car dealer. Owned by a car collector. Not sure how he came across it, but all he did was the detailing and touch ups, he came across it very preserved. So not a whole lot of back story that I'm familiar with unfortunately.

I was not planning to buy a truck this nice, and I normally don't buy from dealers (I'm too cheap), but I couldn't pass it up as original as it is. Also I feel like it was a reasonable price considering the condition.

Oops missed your post.

It has the 250 i-6 and 4-spd. I definitely wish it was an auto, but I do like the 6-cyl.
