Heater/AC question?

I noticed the other day when I was running the heater in my 03 that the AC compressor was cycling as if I was running the AC. Is this normal? I had the heater all the way up, recirculating off, and the “snowflake” button off as well. The air was warm, but I pulled the plug on the pressure switch by the dryer so the compressor wouldn’t run, and the air got a lot warmer of course.

Re: Heater/AC question?

Is there any chance that you also had defrost on?

Re: Heater/AC question?

Pretty sure it was set to dash vents or floor, I don’t usually use defrost. I’ll plug it back in and rotate the dial settings to see if that has any effect on it. Thanks!
