Hello 67-72 Guyz & Galz
Hello… I'm in the process of building a 65 short stepper and just traded a rat rod project for a 72 LWB...
 The first new vehicle I remember my dad buying was a 72 LWB that was red with a straight 6, 3 on the tree and no power anything… Being 11 at the time, I thought that was the coolest truck I'd ever seen...  He traded that one for a 76 just as I was learning to drive... And like the 72, the 76 was I6, 3 on the tree and no power, learn to drive on that set-up and you can drive anything... The outer grille looks to be in great shape...I could use one of those. Good starting point, to say the least. I learned to drive my dad's '67 with a 283, 4-speed granny floor shift, manual brakes, manual steering, and no a/c in the desert. Driveshaft fell off on my first driving lesson with my pop...scared the crap out of me
 Try driving without all the amenities...and no driveshaft

I like the "ratty" look of it. Doesn't necessarily look like patina since it's not "natural". Great truck nonetheless.
