4spd / 5spd driveshafts different?

Do the 4 speeds and 5 speeds use the same driveshaft in the early S-10's?
Long story short, I may be replacing my 87 S-10 farm use truck with a 92 S-10 (both 2wd) and the new 92 has a T-5 that I'd like to use in my 64. Question is: can I put the 4spd from my 87 into the former 5spd 92 without changing the driveshaft? I can't use the 87's driveshaft because one's a longbed, the other's shortbed. Both are 2.8's.
