Boy do I wish that were true. In the real world though, at least most of us small business owners, when we do get a paycheck , take only what we need to survive. Any extra we reinvest in the company to help it grow.

Most women like the strong, silent type… Fortunately for me, my wife prefers the out-of-shape, mouthy type.

Speaking the truth^^^

I am president of the family ranch that is set up as a corporation.
My paycheck doesn't reflect what the company is worth, but with an average 2% to 5% percent return on money invested, it would be hard to justify a bigger salary.
I have no problem with a CEO that has the savvy to run a multi-billion dollar company getting a large paycheck. If he is making large returns for the company, he should be compensated for it.
Those type of guys live only for making money and should be payed well for it!

I'm also president of the local Electric Cooperative with a company worth of over 30 million, yet I get paid $140 a month to serve on the board! I only provide commen sense, but no big money ideas!

John

Re: food for thought

We all know that this is the truth.

Can we keep the Politics out of it so it doesn't get locked?
