Unhappy LMC Headliner Trim ?

Bought headliner trim from LMC. Tabs don't go into slots in the roof, almost seems like they are to short.

I'm very dissapointed with this product. Anyone had any experience with this.

I had this on the review board for several days, then deleted it. No activity over there.

did all headliners have trim or was the trim on higher optioned trucks cause my 72 super used to have the trim but my 71 custom had the headliner only and there is no evidence of there ever being trim up there.

How did you mount it without the slots/tabs?

Very small stainless screws. Think I used 6 total... Going after the truck in a little bit and I can check for sure.

The headliner was only in the CST/cheyanne trucks, no option for jus tthe headliner. They all had the chrome trim.
May as well post it on the review board ...6 months from now this post will be 137 pages down on this board, but only 2 pages on the review board.

Mudder67, did you add the six screws to the trim besides the ones that are allready used, and did you use any kind of adhesive on the headliner itself? any sag since doing this? Thanks Rob

Think maybe I may have added a couple to the ones that were supposed to be there. I used 3M and some 3M tape but it isnt stuck that good. It hard to tell its not stuck by looking at it. I will check it out tomorrow closer.

I bought the repo trim...can't remember where I got it...but it fit perfect...no problems at all snapped right in. I glued the headliner in with 3M carpet glue. I used a piece of plywood and 2x4's wedged against the floor...let it there for a couple of days...I think you would have to destroy it to remove it

I have never bought anything from LMC. First, I think their prices are too damn high. Second, I've heard nothing but bad stuff about them and the quality of the parts they sell.
Just my opinion...
