Blazer for snow plowing?

Just ended up in a deal which could change my plow plan. Was in process of moving the snow plow to a 88 one ton crew 4 speed, 454, 456 ratio. Would be long with how far the plow sticks out.
In this deal I ended up with:
-a 1/2 square auto, 4x4, good motor, good canopy

-A blazer, auto, 6 bolt wheels, motor started to be removed, older winch, manual boat lift, part of propane set up and a Detroit locker, dash apart;

-A cab with the high buckets. I got all this for $500. I ended up in this deal as I was looking for a $500 -900 motor for another square and a friend arrange this, had 5 min. to decide.

Would it be worth it to use the blazer as the plow truck, I have a fairly large Arctic plow. Are the Blazers with 6 bolt wheels a heavier set up or did they all have 6 bolts. Will a auto hold up for the plowing?

Thanks
