To tell you the truth I did not know how it came from the factory. So I thought it would look better with the carpet folded over the edge and glued down to the vertical wall. Then I cut it along the floor line.

got my mirrors and ignition stuff lastnight so today after work ill put all that together and change the oil.

GM left that vertical part of the floor uncovered - done right like yours it does look better IMO.
