Had this for the past few years, but trying to fund a shop on our property, so here goes. I got this as part of a parts package about 15 years ago. Was supposedly taken off when new to install a pickup bed camper and placed in a barn. Original paint, but has a few scratches from being moved around within their barn. I brought out into sunlight for pics, but lives in either my basement or garage since ive owned it. Trum was removed before i got it as well. I dont think these are reproduced, and ive rarely seen this style gate, let alone in take off condition. 750 obo. Can crate and ship through Fastenal.

Price is fair IMO, but the market is low for them due to the fact its a 2 year only gate with the lower production GMC's. To the right person, worth every penny...just have to find him/her.

Should add, too bad the band and emblem are gone, would sure help sell it a lot faster I imagine. Hard to find parts.

I agree with Jeff. I have the identical tailgate in the same condition safely tucked away. I am in no hurry to sell mine but I think yours is priced right. To the right guy these are priceless!

What does the emblem look like? Is the trim and emblem still available?

I’m working on a very tired 73 C 25 “HUNDRED”. The straightest thing on it is the reproduction gate which isn’t period.

tailgate band is the same as all 73-80 but has no emblem holes. GMC emblem is 3 individual letters
