WTB '76-77 Tach

Looking for a '76-77 Tach for my '77 C10. OK if it doesn't work, I can get it repaired, but the face must be in good condition. This year tach has only one window at the bottom, for seat belt light I think. Here is pic of mine, you can see the face is rusted pretty bad.

Not sure if its an option for you but might be worth checking with the tach man if he can or is willing to restore the face. He upgrades the electronics and can make it a 7000 RPM tach.

He rebuilt my factory tach and it works great.

I am hesitant to purchase any electronic item over say 10-15 years old. You might want to consider getting a new one from one of many vendors, such as LMC Truck, Brothers, or Classic. Or get your rebuilt by the Tach man.

Re: WTB '76-77 Tach

I did contact tachman a while back, he does not have the original face artwork for this tach. But he can change it to 7k RPM face. I want the factory look though. And the newer repro tachs do not have this face artwork either. I did find a company that will re-face my tach, so fingers crossed it will look good. So I don't need another tach now. Thanks for your comments.
