new paint

At the moment my truck is in a poop brown color painted in the back yard (not by me). That's why its called "The brown turd." It is a great truck and I plan to do all the body work and get it painted by thee end of summer. I want to go back to the original color that is on the inside of the cab. It's paint code #528 dark bronze. I've never seen one this color before. What do you think?

Re: new paint

It was a one year only color in 70. Sort of a reddish brown metallic.
The only pictures I have are unfortunately of faded or questionable repaint trucks.
Even after a repaint its still going to be a big chocolate brown truck

Re: new paint

I think it would be gorgeous with fresh paint personally.

Re: new paint

Thanks, after looking at it in the sun I thought it would be awesome on my 4x4 as a solid color no two tone

Re: new paint

Looks like a faded maroon poly, but it's a 69 only color. So I'm told.
