Re: My winter project

I needed to free up some space before I start working on the doors. The motor is in and FYI install power steering bracket and trans line clip before you find out as I did and pull motor again.

Re: My winter project

Casey, your right needed to download phone pictures hope they work. Here is a small update. I completed the engine bay AC stuff and still working on under dash things. I repaired the cut radio hole, I got an aftermarket speaker because that will need to go in first or never get it in, dash pad, middle AC vent and ducting work my way down and out. I had a paint shop mix GM 521 to factory spec. and put in spray can application I'll post when I get the dash painted.

sorry for sideways pics can some one helpme turn them.

Thanks guys, I couldn't have done half of this without the information on the board.
I didnt remove the needles, if you noticed the aluminum foil in the photo I cut small slots and slid it under the needles and pressed in place and used a brush on reflective needle paint.

Great idea, thanks for sharing I've been wanting to do that for a while and didn't want to break it
Is the paint available online, looks like a good match

Yes, the paint is available online and worked great. The bottle I have has plenty more if you need it.

Thanks Jothan, Thanks again with the parts you helped me out with. I did finish up the dash area so I'll start on the doors.

I had some sandblasting done on my doors and fenders, does anyone know how should I prep the surfaces until I can repair?
Thanks.

Re: My winter project

Started working on the doors and they need some patches. Any tips or advice on welding this together, butt weld, lap weld?
Thanks 7D2N

Re: My winter project

I'm fitting the patch panels on the doors, checking the fit and alinement before I cut for welding.
