Sorry, I should have pointed out, an exception to the diagram colors matching the wire colors is 20W/OR/PPL, after all these years on your truck it has faded to be just a plain white cloth covered wire. That is the resistor wire that powers a standard points distributor/coil. That is the one you replace with a pink wire to power HEI.
