Helped my friend change the timing set on the 350 Olds in his '79 C-10. The plastic on the stock cam gear shredded, and the engine jumped time. Replaced with an all steel Cloyes timing set. He should have the accessories mounted back up, and have it running by next weekend.

Saturday, I drove about 4 hrs to over by Lafayette, LA to pick up some engine blocks to use for the rebuild of my 81 (again). Luckily it only took about any hour to dig them out of a shed and load them, then the 4 hr drive home. Dropped the better of the 2 off at the builders this morning.

Adjusted the striker on my driver door. That got rid of a nasty squeak on every bump.
